Gender. How are you with yours?

This February, Time to Shine returns to Neue Bühne Friedrichshain with a theme that naffects us all: Gender.

It’s hosted by two latex-wearing, award-winning comedians with a combined 20 years of experience in the standup scenes of London and NYC, and who now call Berlin home.

Time to Shine is Berlin’s kinky kiez on stage—a live storytelling and comedy show created by and for kinksters, sex workers, and fetishists. With raw honesty, humor, and a celebration of self-expression, each show dives into themes of vulnerability, passion, and power.

Whether you’re part of the scene or simply curious, this judgment-free space welcomes all to explore kink, fetish, and sexuality beyond the punchline. Dress to express, bring your pleasure posse, and prepare for a night of bold performances and heartfelt tales.

Kink doesn’t have to be the punchline, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be funny.

This months special guest is Naya De Souza. Born in 1991 in the Caatinga region of Brazil and grew up between the borders of Bahia and Pernambuco. She transitions between disciplines such as performance art, comedy/stand-up, and cooking. Multilingual by birth and transdisciplinary by heritage, Naya's body of work transcends traditional boundaries, whether between disciplines, countries, or institutions. She views art as a perpetual process of immigration and translation.
