Time to Shine XII

10 & 11 September

THEATRE POOL, Berlin

Live comedy, storytelling and performance from Berlin’s kink and queer community.

Time to Shine is where comedy meets Berlin’s fetish scene. Every edition explores a different theme through stand-up, personal stories and guest performances, creating an evening that’s funny, thoughtful and sometimes unexpectedly moving. Come as you are, bring an open mind, shine your favourite latex (if that’s your thing) and we'll see you there.

Hosts: L’aDios & Terry Saunders

Time to Shine is created and hosted by Terry Saunders and L’aDios, award-winning comedians bringing over 20 years of stand-up experience from London and New York to the stage.

A SHORT TASTE OF THE SHOW

WHAT IS TIME TO SHINE?

Time to Shine is a live comedy and storytelling show, formed in Berlin in 2023. Made by and for people in kink, queer, SW and fetish communities, it explores one theme per show through stand-up, confessions, and personal performance.

THIS SHOW IS FOR:

People who enjoy comedy, storytelling, kink culture, and talking honestly about sex, without being shouted at or shocked on purpose.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE NIGHT

A live comedy and storytelling show

Real, personal stories, funny, awkward, explicit, and honest

A kink-aware, queer-friendly audience

The Confessions Demon collecting anonymous secrets

A warm, playful, judgement-free atmosphere

Sex-positive, consensual, and audience-respecting.

Kink shouldn’t be the punchline, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be funny.

A person dressed in a glossy black latex outfit and mask, with painted face details, is holding a card with a repeating pattern of yellow emojis on a red background. The person has a finger on their lips and is wearing a tattooed hand.
A woman in a cream-colored dress with a fringe veil covering her face, standing in a dark room with red lighting and a brick wall in the background.
An audience at a concert or comedy show in a dark indoor venue, seated and enjoying drinks.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE / VIBE?

There is no dress code, but self-expression is encouraged.

Latex, leather, rubber, fetishwear, or everyday clothes are all welcome.

Come solo, with a partner, or with your full pleasure posse.

This is a space built on consent, curiosity, and mutual respect.
